By using the Khayat website (khayat.store) or booking our tailoring services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. Khayat is a UAE-licensed tailoring platform operating across all seven emirates.
Khayat provides custom tailoring, alterations and repair services for garments including kandora, abaya, jalabiya, suits, dresses and more. Services include home measurement visits, free pickup and delivery, and same-day options where available. Service availability may vary by location and demand.
Bookings are made via WhatsApp or phone. Prices are confirmed with you before any work begins, typically through our photo-quote system. A quote is an estimate based on the information provided; the final price may be adjusted if the garment or required work differs from what was described, and any change will be communicated and agreed before proceeding.
All prices are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED) and include free pickup and delivery unless otherwise stated. Express or same-day service may carry an additional fee, communicated in advance. Payment is collected on delivery unless agreed otherwise. We accept cash and other methods as communicated at booking.
Estimated turnaround times are provided at booking and may vary with complexity and demand, particularly around Eid and Ramadan. We make every effort to meet agreed deadlines and will keep you informed of progress via WhatsApp.
We offer a re-adjustment guarantee: if a garment we tailored or altered does not fit as agreed, we will adjust it at no additional cost. This applies to the original specifications agreed at booking. Changes to the original design or new requirements may be subject to additional charges.
You agree to provide accurate measurements, descriptions and requirements, and to make garments available for pickup at the agreed time. Khayat is not responsible for delays caused by inaccurate information or unavailability at scheduled pickup or delivery.
While we handle every garment with professional care, Khayat's liability for any garment is limited to the value of the service provided. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, defects in customer-supplied materials, or issues arising from inaccurate information provided by the customer.
You may cancel a booking before work has commenced at no charge. If work has already begun, charges may apply for materials and labour completed. Please contact us as early as possible to cancel or reschedule.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the relevant UAE authorities.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the effective date shown above.
